How do I get started?

Women tend to do less exercise than men and there are many things stopping us from having a go.

The good news is, there are many different activities to try in Manchester in different places and at different times, including activities you can do as a family or with a baby!

Try a few things different things and find what you enjoy – whether your thing's a gentle walk, an exercise class, swimming or something a bit different like skateboarding or taekwondo; find something you love.

Feeling nervous about trying something new? Don't worry you're not alone – there will be other people feeling just like you! Even those who look the part were beginners once and felt just like you!

Don't worry if you've dropped out of exercise also. It happens to us all at different times of life.

Give it a go. And remember – if it's not for you, try something else.
